By using Rentlane ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
Rentlane is a property management platform for landlords. We provide tools for lease management, rent tracking, maintenance requests, and financial reporting. We are not a bank, payment processor, or legal advisor.
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must provide accurate information about your properties and tenants. You may not use the Service for illegal purposes.
Leases signed through Rentlane use DocuSeal for electronic signatures. These signatures are legally binding under the ESIGN Act and UETA. You are responsible for ensuring your lease content complies with local landlord-tenant laws.
Rentlane does not process rent payments. We monitor your bank account (via Plaid) to detect and match incoming payments. Tenants pay you directly through Zelle or bank transfer. We charge no processing fees on rent payments.
Our Free plan includes unlimited e-signatures and one property, free forever. Our Pro plan is $5/month for unlimited properties and additional features. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.
You own your data. We don't sell it. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information.
Rentlane is provided "as is." We do our best to keep things running smoothly, but we're not liable for missed payments, incorrect payment matching, or any damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months.
You can cancel your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, you can request an export of your data.
We may update these terms. We'll notify you of material changes via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
